How do customers know when is the time to replace the filtration mineral stones?

Once the color starts fading away (after approximately 8,000 gallons) they can unscrew the head, and replace them in a few seconds.

Maintenance & Compatibility

• How often should I replace the filter? 

  • Every 3–4 months, or roughly every 8,000 gallons.

• Will this fit my showerhead? 

  • These mineral filtration stones are designed exclusively for the Unchemed 2.0 Handheld. They are not compatible with the 5.0 Stationary or other brands.

• How do I know when it's time to change? 

  • There are three main signs: your hair starts feeling dryer or more brittle, you notice a chlorine smell returning, or water pressure slightly decreases.

Subscription & Returns

• How does Subscribe & Save work? You choose your quantity and frequency. Fresh filters are auto-shipped every 4 months at a 15% discount. 

  • You receive an email reminder 7 days before each shipment and can skip, pause, or cancel anytime with no fees.

• Can I return an opened filter? 

  • Unopened filters can be returned within 30 days. However, because filters directly contact water, opened filters cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Damaged filters will be replaced for free if you email a photo.
